39.owner builder’s course the Sydney Building Information Centre
Anyone intending to obtain an owner builder permit for projects over $12,000 is required to attend an approved course. This one-day course covers the legal regulations and obligations, the paperwork involved, tips on calculating quantities of materials, costs and time commitments. If you are thinking of building a deck or carport, extending or renovating, erecting a new dwelling or any other project, come along and obtain your accreditation. Please note that regulations require owner-builders to hold a Green Card. See course N0: 20
